At least once per season, be sure to dry clean any cotton, wool, or cashmere. However, you can hand wash cashmere and wool with a gentle laundry detergent like Woolite. Your sweaters, as a matter of fact, will come out feeling a lot softer by hand washing them unlike when you dry clean them.
